Ike Quebec - It Might As Well Be Spring
Catalog # Blue Note - BLP 4105
1962 original USA Mono pressing. Both the Van Gelder stamp, as well as the "ear" are present on both sides of the dead wax which make this a 1962 original. The dead wax info on both sides is as follows...
- Matrix / Runout (Side 1 label): BN 4105-A
- Matrix / Runout (Side 2 label): BN 4105-B
- Matrix / Runout (Side 1 runout etched): BNLP.4105.A.A
- Matrix / Runout (Side 2 runout etched): BN-LP-4105.B.B
- Matrix / Runout (Both sides runout stamped): VAN GELDER P
Media = VG+. Both sides are clean, shiny, and glossy. Both sides have some light scuffs that cannot be felt with a fingertip, and appear to have gotten there from a former owner's improper storage. They are similar to sleeve press marks. Both sides play through without negative incidence; no significant noise, no pops, no skips. This is a wonderful listening experience.
Sleeve = VG. Light general wear, throughout. The laminate is still in amazing shape throughout the front of the sleeve, and believe me; this thing is BEAUTIFUL. The former owner wrote his name in blue ball-point pen on the top right hand corner of the back of the sleeve. There is also some very light discoloration to the almost completely white back side of the sleeve. Please scope out the pics!

All lps are visually graded only unless specifically stated.
I grade using Goldmine Standards.
I use brand new mailers, sleeves, and inserts to make sure your record lands your way in the same shape it was sent out in.
Rest assured, I know how to package, as well as how to accurately grade an LP. Please check my feedback if that is something you’re worried about.
