Description

Rare, original stereo vinyl of Ike Quebec's "It Might As Well Be Spring" Blue Note LP (ST-84105).  I believe the gentleman who owned this album, (and a few others like the "Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Jerome Kern Song Book", "Sonny Stitt: Nightcrawler with Don Patterson" preview copy and "Soul Brothers: Milt Jackson & Ray Charles"...which can all be found in our store.),  was a sound engineer and this album was used as part of a 1964 Chicago promotional release, (see photo of back cover), and then given to his lady love in 1972.

The album, I believe, was produced in 1961 and has the "Van Gelder" and "Stereo" stamp in the wax.  The Blue Note label is marked "NEW YORK" and the address on the album says "43 West 61st St., New York 23".

The vinyl is in excellent condition.  Except for all of the writing on the back, the cover is in exceptional condition for a nearly 50 year old album.
