Description

This is a first press recording of Ike Quebec - Bossa Nova Soul Samba on the Blue Note label BLP 4114, released in 1962.

The matrix contains incised cursive BLP-4114 A/B; a stamped VANGELDER; and the “Ear” (see photos).

Musicians include Ike Quebec on tenor saxophone, Kenny Burrell on guitar, Wendell Marshall on bass, and Willie Bobo and Garvin Masseaux on percussion.

The cover is in very Poor condition from water damage, and I simply report this as having No Cover.


This record has has been cleaned and play-graded. The record surfaces are rated as VG, with moderate surface noise but no sticks, skips or loud clicks. This record is not warped.

The labels have a shallow groove on each side, and are clean and unmarked, with moderate spindle wear.
