Description

original sue pressing in VG+ to VG with seam splits, fine scuff and a few surface scratches. Good player with no skips or serious damage. These were sold mostly at the actual performances of Ike and Tina, as the Lp had very poor/or no distribution! The 45 "Fool in Love" is more common, but mainly this LP pops up around St Louis and in small pockets along the tour routes they took in and out of the area. Even being in STL for many years, I've only seen a handful of these originals, since the 60s, this is about the third! As I mentioned, they had a hit with "fool in love" on this LP, whiched reached #2 on the R&B charts and #27 on the pop charts. The two Lp's that were released before this, I've never seen... but I'm hopeful! Check out this audio from the actual disc, side one, track one... no filters, just straight direct mono.
