IMPULSE A32: JOHN COLTRANE QUARTET 'Ballads'
An album from Coltrane's classic Impulse period, issued in 1963, with the wellknown quartet of Coltrane/Tyner/Garrison and Elvin Jones. This is a first ABC-Paramount/Impulse mono promo pressing with white substituted for orange in the label design. It has a gatefold cover.

CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is EtoE+ (VG+toVG++) with some light to very light scuffs, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These have little affect on the playing. There is also a small amount of surface dirt/dust. This record would benefit from being cleaned. The cover is E (VG+), with minor corner damage and some surface rubbing. Inside the gatefold there is some surface dirt/staining along the top of both sides.
