Description
Original orange and black label Impulse. John Coltrane doing "BALLADS" with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison & Elvin Jones. This is a wonderful recording with Coltrane in a very mello mood. This record has been recognized as one of John's best. This is the original stereo version with the vinyl being in mint condition. The bi-fold cover is VG++, with only minor shelf wear on bottom, and some coating peeling on back cover edge. If you don't have any coltrane this would be the one to start with.
