Description
In Sides by Orbital, on Internal Records (TRULP10), released in 1996. This is the first (and possibly only ) UK pressing and would seem to be extremely rare. The album comprises three 12” singles (playing at 45rpm), with one album track per side of each disc. The vinyl is in Excellent to Mint condition and all records have been kept in poly-lined inner sleeves. The cover is in Excellent condition(see pics). The only thing to note is that I stuck the cover-mounted label for the single 'The Box' on one of the inner sleeves.
AllMusic gives the album 4.5 stars stating: ‘In Sides isn't Orbital's best album, or their most accomplished, but it is the most definitive. It pulses with the energy of the debut, the lush flow of the second, and the conceptual theme of Snivilisation. The focus this time, though, is ecology.’ It was listed in numerous end of the year ‘Bestof...’ lists, as well as in Q Magazine’s ‘90 Best Albums Of The ‘90s’.
All records are from my own collection. I have roughly 100 albums for sale, which I will be putting on Ebay in lots often or so over the coming weeks. In general, I will put a low opening bid price – generally at £0.99 - as I wish to sell these records (so I can clear some shelves and use any profit to buy more). The exception will be where Ebay recommends a higher opening bid price. In that case, the opening bid price will always be lower than the average Discogs price or the last price the record sold for on Discogs.
1st Class postage within the UK is £3.85,which covers parcels up to a value of £20.00. For items over that value, I will send by ‘1st Class signed for’, which covers parcels up to a value of £50.00 and costs £4.85. If, by any chance, any sells for more than that, I will send it by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm, which covers parcels up to a value of £500.00 and costs £6.75.
If you buy more than one record, the postage costs per item will diminish, up to a weight of one kilo. Please contact me and I will provide an invoice with an updated postage charge. The general guide is that up to three records can be packaged and sent for the same price as one, although if the overall value goes above £20, I will send the package as 'signed for', increasing the postage as above for both your protection and mine.
If I can work out how to use it, I will use the Ebay Global Shipping Programme to ship to the EU and USA. If not, then I will only be selling to the UK.
