In the Woods... war eine Metalband aus Norwegen, die 1992 in Kristiansand gegründet wurde und sich 2000 auflöste.
In ihren Anfängen spielte die Band atmosphärischen Pagan Metal (sie wurde als eine der ersten Bands dieser
Bezeichnung zugeordnet) und änderte ihren Stil über die Jahre hin zu Progressive Metal. Etliche Mitglieder waren
unter anderem bei der Band Green Carnation aktiv, auch der heutige Carpathian Forest-Schlagzeuger Anders Kobro
war Mitglied der Band.

Heart of the Ages ist fünfte Studioalbum der norwegischen avantgarde metal band In the Woods...
