Incognito’s 20th studio album “Music. Magic. Ironic.” arrives with a total of 17 tracks. The album title was inspired by leader Bluey’s childhood memories in Mauritius, where local musicians would gather after a long day’s work and perform using whatever instruments were available — hand drums, bottles and forks, or even simple handclaps. He recalls how their music uplifted everyone present, making them dance, filling the air with pure joy. Witnessing this extraordinary scene caused young Bluey to confuse the words “music” and “magic.” Later in life, he realized that this “mistake” was not a mistake at all, and chose to dedicate his professional career to creating “magic.” This milestone 20th album “Music. Magic. Ironic.” was crafted together by Incognito’s new and longtime members, and the creative process brought forth countless moments of “magic.” The vocal lineup features leading UK singers such as Joy Rose, Tony Momrelle, Natalie Duncan, and Cleo Stewart, along with powerful American vocalists Maysa (Maysa Leak) and Zebulon Ellis.
