Description
Kenny Burrell’s Debut Release On Blue Note Records From 1956. This Is A Mono(2nd Pressing) Version Released Shortly After It’s Initial Release. Both Sides Have The Classic Blue Note Label w/Lexington Address, No Copyright R & Both Sides Are Deep Groove. The Runouts Have “RVG” & “9M” Etched & Both Sides Have Partial Ear Mark. The Disc Is Flat, Heavy & Doesn’t Have Flat Edge. The Record Itself Is In Really Nice Shape w/Minimal Hairlines, No Needle Drops Or Heavy Scratches. Side 2 Is In Slightly Better Condition & For Being Nearly 70 Years Old This Has Really Low Miles & Has Been Well Taken Care Of. Visually I’d Definitely Grade This (VG+) Plays w/o Any Skips But Has Some Background Noise. It Is A Quiet Record But Most Definitely A Blue Note Essential & Will Go w/A(VG) Grading. It Could Perform A Grade Up w/A Cleaning, As Deep Grooves Often Do. The Cover Has Wear Mostly On The Seams(see pics) & Has 43 West 61st New York 23 Address(VG-). Comes w/Original Inner Sleeve Which Is Clean But Record Is Housed In VRP Poly Sleeve. Excellent Record That Doesn’t Pop Up In This Condition Often. Solid Investment!
