Pressed in June, 1963 (genuine 1st press) by ARP, but not released until January, 1964, due to internal problems at Vee Jay Records.
Vee Jay was not licensed to release tracks A6 and B1, and was forced to repress the album, replacing these tracks.
after researching as much as I could about this album, I believe it to be an original first pressing. The woman that I received the original Collection from was an avid music lover and had an extensive collection, Her name is written on the cover, "Cyndee"...and she was a teen when this album came out. She has since passed and I would love to ask her when/where she got this album... but I can't. the matrix matches for an original first pressing....so does the labels.
+×× but because of the significance of the first US release of the Beatles, this album has been faked and counterfeited over the years....
I know Vinyl, but I am not a Beatles expert. but from everything I researched, this does look authentic. I did every counterfeit test listed that i could find. Its not in the best condition, but it is authentic as i can tell. Any questions , please message me.
