This is Introducing the Beatles with the Blank Back instead of the song titles cover.
First the cover...I've included a picture of where the cover had been wet on the bottom. This is most evident on the back and shows up in the photo. There is a little wear on the bottom front and some minor ring wear. The top edge is slightly nicked and has a light purpleish color, the cause of which I have no idea.
Now a little history. I bought this LP from a guy on E-Bay about 2 years ago and paid over $400 for it. A photo of this cover was listed along with a photo of the LP having the OVAL VJ record lable and colorband. The LP looked like it was in VG++ condition and the description also stated that.
Upon reciept of the LP (which took many phone calls and weeks), I find that he had included an LP with the bracket lable instead of oval lable that was pictured. He's now off of E-Bay but has used different names, including his wife's. I never got the situation resolved and am now offering this LP at a very reduced price.
The LP that I did recieve is very scuffed but plays through with less noise than I expected. I would grade it VG with no skips but an almost skip on "Ask Me Why" that was a loud POP. Overall, listening to it reminded me of the "old days" and the sound is OK. It's not the LP you're after anyway, if you bid on this, but the cover.
I'm selling this because it angers me every time I see it. If it goes for $.99, so be it. GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
