Description

"Introducing The Beatles" LP vinyl record album by "England's No. 1 Vocal Group" from 1964, in fair to good overall condition.  From Vee-Jay, album LP 1062, mono sound.  We understand that this is Version 2 of the album, as the song list includes “Ask Me Why” and “Please Please Me” in place of “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” that are on Version 1.

Record labels are black with a "rainbow" band around the edge, and with “The Beatles” printed above the spindle hole (and below "Introducing The Beatles").  Album cover has the oval Vee-Jay logo on front and bracketed logo on back, George Harrison’s shadow at the right (open) edge, and "Vee Jay" printed twice on the spine.  Record run-outs (each side) are hand-etched with a small "URJ" and an "A1"; the Side 1 run-out is also etched 63-4302-1, and the Side 2 run-out 63-4303-1.

Condition details:
> Record:  Side 1 has three visible straight scratches, and a couple of scuffs.  Side 2 has two light scratches and a considerable scuffing.  Both sides could use a good cleaning.  We have not played the record and cannot say how it sounds.
> Labels:  Side 1 has two short scratches and light edge wear; Side 2 has a little light edge wear.
> Sleeve:  Has corner creases, but no rips or tears.
> Cover:  Has handwritten (in pencil) name on front upper right corner (see picture) and light scuffs and edge/corner wear, but no creases, marks or edge splits.
