Description
Hi, Up for auction is a 1964 Introducing the Beatles record. This is the version with Please Please Me and Ask Me Why. This version has the comma between Please Please on the back cover. The spine is very nice with NO splitting or fractures. The spine is 100% readable except the catalog number on very bottom that shows some wear but NO splitting. The top seam is also very nice with NO splitting or fractures. The bottom seam has NO splitting or fractures eaither, but does show some minor rubbing wear. On the bottom seam, the paper is partially broken twords the left corner, which can be seen in picture 7 but is nothing too noticable(less than 1/2 inch). The front of the cover, there are very small un-noticable creases in the paper of the slick that may be factory defects (picture 5). The only noticable ring wear, can be seen on the very bottom of the front and some indention marks are also present in the same spot. This can be seen in the third and fourth pictures. There is very slight ring wear on top. There is also a small water spot on the top right corner that can be seen on the 6th picture and the corner shows slight wear. The back is very nice and clean except for light small "smudges" spot that can be seen in picture 11 and very minor ring wear. The inner sleeve has yellowed some. One side of the inner sleeve has totaly split and the bottom is about 75% split. The disc is nice, clean and glossy but does have some scratches and scuffs from play. This has to be the nicest Introducing the Beatles I have ever come across. This is definatly not perfect, but this is a very very nice example. Please click for SUPERSIZED PHOTOS.
