Vee-Jay Rainbow label, sharp silver centered songs Audio Matrix stamped in deadwax on both sides. 63-3402 in deadwax on side 1 with date 6 29 63 63-3403 in deadwax on side 2 with date 6 29 63 Back of sleeve two column song listings with PS. I LOVE YOU and LOVE ME DO A legal battle between Vee-Jay and Capitol Records resulted in Vee-Jay replacing these songs with 'Ask Me Why' and 'Please Please Me' for Version 2 The original owner recalls purchasing this record in mid-late January 1964, with coincides with sales data for this record upon its January 1964 release. SLEEVE VG - 3" split at bottom right corner but no serious effect on the overall look of this old rare beauty. SIDE 1 RAINBOW LABEL HAS A MARK BUT LOOKS PRETTY SIDE 2 RAINBOW LABEL LOOKS VERY PRETTY VINYL VG+ some hairlines and scuffing, remember this is a 55+ year old record, but the sound is great PLAYS VERY CLOSE TO EX, SOUNDS WONDERFUL, SOME MEDIUM TO HEAVIER STATIC BETWEEN TRACKS BUT TRACKS THEMSELVES HAVE NICE FIDELITY, I REALLY ENJOYED PLAY TESTING THIS RECORD PLAY TESTED WITH AN 8 TUBE EL34 PUSH PULL AMP AND AN ORTOFON BLUE CARTRIDGE RECORD HAS BEEN CLEANED INCLUDES PLAIN PAPER INNER AND A FREE MOBILE FIDELITY MASTER SLEEVE AS PICTURED – SEE THE PHOTOS – SEE ALL THE PHOTOS
