Description
Up for grabs is Introducing the Beatles on Vee Jay records VJLP 1062 with the super rare 45 rpm size label variation. As the story goes, Vee Jay couldn't quite keep up with the demand for these records and after they had exhausted all of the proper album sized labels (oval w/ colorband, brackets w/ colorband, brackets w/ no colorband, VJ block, etc) they had no choice but to start using the labels designed for the 45's. Only problems was, they were a little smaller in diameter and didn't quite cover the center portion of the album. So here you have it. Don't miss this chance to pick up this rare record for your collection.
Cover is beautiful. There is almost no wear whatsoever to the front slick. It is still nice and glossy. Only detraction is small, light creasing near the spine and light rubs to the corners. Back looks great as well except for light check marks next to Misery, Anna, and Please Please Me, light surface wear, and a price stamp. I would grade this at VG++.
Vinyl grades VG++ as well with only a few very light scratches and very light scuffs.
Labels grade VG++ to NM- with almost no wear. Only detraction being light spindle marks and some light spindle hole wear.
As always, will be shipped in a Cardboard album shipper.
