"Introducing The Beatles" mono cover blank back. VJLP 1062 63-3402 Label (last song on side 1 is "Love Me Do", the first song on side 2 is "P.S. I Love You"). The record has the oval logo, Introducing the Beatles followed by The Beatles above the hole. Has centered song titles The Blank back cover is a version 1 (with the "Printed in USA" running vertical along left hand side), and is in G+ condition. There are 2 seam splits, the lower seam is split across the whole bottom, and the top seam is has a 2" split near the opening, and there is a crease in the corner near the printed in U.S.A. stamping. Back has some discoloration and the the name Trudy written in upper left. Slick has correct Gloss on front and back. The first issue covers were manufactured in Chicago by the offset printing firm Coburn & Company just after July 23rd 1963. This company printed up the first 6000 front slicks and back liner notes. These 6000 are the only cover slicks that say "Printed in U.S.A" on the front cover, vertically from the bottom left corner along the spine. Later covers were printed by Ivy Hill Lithograph Co. at their New York and California locations and did not include Printed in U.S.A. This is the real deal and presents well. In the run off it is stamped Audio Matrix, and MR in a circle indicating it was made in California. The album is VG or better because of several visual scuffs and scratches...but nothing major. The labels are even on both sides with some wear, and a minor label scrape. I would call them VG+. From the estate of some true Beatles fans..!! There are no skips, and play's quite well. .
