Description

An original 1st press of BALL on UK ATCO from 1969. Matrix A1/B1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very inconsequential markings per side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetween are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clairty. Super bold and detailed order - you won't find a better pressing anywhere. Plays clean throughout. You might detect a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side - i.e. precious little. Highly recomended.
Cover (Vg+) A difficult title to find in top condition, but this example is still looking very nice indeed. Pretty clean and flat looking front with just some light handling in evidence. Ditto the rear. The interior can end up looking a bit worse for wear particularly on the left. But this example is in very rude health. Hardly any ageing apparent on the left and no no dulling of colours, or surface wear, on the right. Edge war is relatively light and the openings still sharpish. The spine is in excellent order with all text fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
