Iron Maiden

Edward the Great

EMI 2002

Beautifully produced limited vinyl issue of the 2002 Greatest Hits LP. Released between Brave New World and Dance of Death, this compilation sought to continue the momentum that the band began picking up again after Brave New World and to introduce new listeners to the back catalogue. The vinyl release was on double picture disc (as all of the band's studio albums were between 2000 and 2010), and - with no titles on the front cover - a large rectangular hype sticker was attached to the bottom left of the front gatefold. Inside is a message to fans from Steve Harris, during which he responds to rumours that this greatest hits release suggested the band were retiring from releasing new material.

VINYL:

Near Mint. Both vinyls appear to be in wonderful condition and they play very well indeed.

SLEEVE:

Excellent+. Very well preserved gatefold sleeve with just a hint od storage evidence - check the photos. a lovely copy.

INNER/INSERTS:

Original printed inners in great shape. Appear barely touched and are unsplit. Near Mint.
