For postage I'll take the record out of the sleeve, place sleeve and record in a plastic slip, sandwich it all securely between two oversized pieces of 3mm corflute (strong plastic packing better than cardboard- http://clampasign.com.au/images/detailed/0/BackingboardA4.jpg), and then slip into a padded Australia Post tough bag.
