Description

An original 1st press of LAD on the UK EMI label. Matrix A2/B1- A1/B2. Etching "Wally" & "Mastered By Capitol" X4. Worth noting that the vinyl is pressed a tad heavier than some original copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with no silly hype stickers. We also have both the bespoke inner sleeves. The booklet is present too. The vinyl will ship in poly-lined generic inner sleeves. All 18 tracks - 100minutes playing time. 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just a couple of minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Really good power and authority in the audio - a very respectable pressing. There's a touch of low-level static during that quiet spacy spoken word section in 'Mariner' [difficult to avoid entirely]. Expect a few crackles in the intro to 'Hallowed' - difficult to find this intro clean unfortunately. Other than that there's little to find fault with across four sides.
Cover (Ex) In great condition and without any stupid hype stickers on the front to spoil the artwork. Both front and back are flat and lovely shiny with hardly any creasing at all. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is extremely limited and the openings are still sharp. The spine is in awesome condition - perfectly square and 100% intact. There's not even the very slight linear crease lines that 90% of copies exhibit. It is superb. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very very fine specimen.
Inner (Ex+) No splits. Absolutely perfect - like new.
