Description
This record plays beautifully. Extremely minor surface noise in the very quietest parts (and there aren't many of those). One approx 2cm scratch which is superficial and does not, as far as I can hear, affect playback. I would grade the record VG in appearance, but in terms of how it plays, I've had brand new records with a lot more noise. This record sounds great. Unless you're an extreme audiophile with unnatural hearing, I doubt you'll be disappointed with this.
The sleeve is beautiful with only minor wear, aside from a small ~1cm tear on the back (visible on the photo).

A note about grading I believe that the grading system has been rendered worthless by people listing any old rubbish as VG+ or EX, even records that are fit for the bin. As such, although eBay compels me to put in a grade, I also describe the condition to the best of my ability. I am not a vinyl expert, but I have a decent turntable with quality stylus and I will provide an honest assessment of each record to the best of my ability. I would rather undersell a record than oversell it.
I listen to several minutes of both sides of each record. I listen to part of the first track, and then random later points (focusing on areas where any damage may be present, to check for skips or pops etc). I make notes on audio quality which inform my grading information.
All records are cleaned to one degree or another (usually with an alcohol-based cleaner and then rinsed with deionised water), but may need a gentle clean with a suitable cloth before playing, because I don't work in a NASA-style clean room. Some records may benefit from further cleaning.
