Here is one of the coolest Maiden collectables, the deluxe 4 disc Vinyl 12" box set for Best of the Beast. Really beautiful set comes with 4 12" vinyl albums and a deluxe hard cover book housed in a thick slip sleeve 'box'! Each record comes in two glossy sleeves, one inside the other (the front's of all sleeves are pictured below) all with completely different artwork spanning Maiden's entire career. Also very cool, are the labels in the middle of each record are different artwork on every side of every disc. So there are 8 different picture labels in the set! Very cool. The hard cover book is the real prize here. A very deluxe, glossy and very thorough history of Maiden. Cramed with tons of rare pictures, lyrics, tour shirts, ureleased artwork, every tour date maiden played from 1979 to 1996, detailed 'time line' detailing all important dates in Maiden history, release dates and chart positions for every release, and tons more stuff. Really amazing book! Almost 50 pages!
Condition: Most of this set looks like new. The plastic wrap although open, is mostly in tact around two sides of the set for protective storing. All of the vinyl discs are absolutely mint like new. NONE of the 4 discs have ever even been played. The box is exactly as I got it when it was new and sealed, but it came with some wear from shipping and has a bad corner which I have included in the pictures so you know exactly what you are getting. The book is like new, no wear. The sleeves are in almost like new, but some have wear on some edges. Mostly on the sides facing the open end of the box. It's a tough thing to keep in perfect shape and the sleeves are very thin. I bought this new and have only taken the sleeves out a few times in the last decade, so the box is pretty much exactly the was it was when I got it. So over-all you'll be quite happy, but it's got a few spots of 'handling wear' when it was shipped. I'm just trying to be as exact as possible so there are no surprises. Again, all discs are perfect and unplayed!

First official release of these 3 super rare tracks (Iron Maiden, Invasion, Strange World) on vinyl since the original 45 was released almost 20 years before! Nice bonus of rarities here! Usually die hard fans don't need to bother with 'greatest hits' collections, but this is such an amazing package, plus the Soundhouse Tapes, plus the super deluxe hard cover book, and the great cover box with all the Eddies from era's past that it's really a must have!! When these came out it was said that there were only a 1000 made of these vinyl sets, but I have yet to confirm whether this is true or not. There couldn't have been many, this came out in the late 90's when vinyl was totally dead, so this was strictly for the collectors!
Sorry, but it's kind of hard to photograph this item, so the pictures aren't that great with the flash glare and all. But they should be enough to give you the basic idea.
Now obviously shipping is going to be quite a bit more than the $4 limit they put on the vinyl auctions. This is a pretty heavy set. I'll get it priced in the next day or two. I will ship world wide, but you will have to pay the extra shipping for over seas.
