Description

A rare and much sought-after original copy of the The Soundhouse Tapes 7" Vinyl EP by the mighty Iron Maiden!

Please note there is no cover sleeve with this copy.

Released in 1979 on Rock Hard Records and limited to only 5,000 copies, I bought this vinyl on eBay in 2008 for my private collection. Unfortunately I do not have any history for the early days of this particular copy of the EP or why there is no cover sleeve. There was a cover sleeve for auction on eBay a few months ago so perhaps there is a possibility of a hook-up.

I have checked out the vinyl against the Haggen Kennedy and Maiden Heaven websites - this copy is an original ROK 1 release bearing the correct run out matrix markings (ROK-1-A *EG* SA LYN 7627-IT on side A  and ROK-1-B LYN 7628-IT *EG* SA on side B) and all of the attributes which validate its authenticity.

The EP contains the tracks Iron Maiden (Side A) and Invasion and Prowler (Side B). The vinyl has some light surface marks which do not effect playing.

Please note, there is also no merchandise sheet with this copy of the EP.

There is no reserve on this auction and no Buy It Now price.

Postage costs:

UK (Royal Mail First Class Signed) - £2.36

Europe (Royal Mail International Signed) - £8.60

Rest of the World (Royal Mail International Signed) - £9.65

Please note: The postage rates take account of the Royal Mail price increases due on 30 Mar 15. If the postage costs are less than the above rates, I will issue a part-refund accordingly.

Payment

I will send out an invoice following the end of the listing and apply combined postage costs for multiple purchases.

Payment by PayPal within 3 days of the listing end please. If you wish to extend this time please send me an email.

I will post out within 2-3 days of receiving the cleared payment.

Thanks for looking, happy bidding and good luck!
