Iron Maiden - The Trooper EMI Label - EMIP 5397 1983 UK First Pressing Clear Shaped Picture Disc
This listing is for a rare original shaped picture disc of the classic Iron Maiden track The Trooper, backed with Cross Eyed Mary. There are 2 versions of this picture disc one with the image cut like a V on the top right where the spear point hits the sky, known as the V cut. The other version it is just rounded off like this one, called the U cut.
Great example and a must have for all Iron Maiden and Picture Disc collectors.

All of my records are play tested on a Technics SL-1200 with a Grado GF3 stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - VG+ Difficult to grade due to the light colours, but no obvious scratches or marks under a bright light save for a few hairlines from the loose sleeve. The colour around the edges has kept well, often these go yellow with age but this one has not. Overall very nice piece.
Record Audio - VG+ I don't normally play picture discs as I they are normally poor quality and in my opinion are only for their aesthetics. Unusually this one sounds really good, lovely and clear with only minimal surface noise.
Record Sleeve - VG+ I am not sure if this is the original sleeve but it is just a plain clear PVC sleeve which is in good condition.
