Iron Maiden
The X Factor
EMI 1995
The original vinyl pressing of the tenth studio album and - along with its successor - by far the rarest Maiden 1st press due both to waning popularity and the dwindling market for vinyl in the mid 90s. Now seen as an essential cornerstone of any serious Iron Maiden collection, these turn up increasingly rarely!
VINYL:
Both vinyls seem lightly played. Disc one appears clean and bright with vibrant labels and it plays through well with some background noise audible during the intro to Sign of the Cross. Disc one grades as Excellent. There is a warp evident when disc 2 is spinning on the turntable but this doesn't affect playback and it plays well. There are some light speckles in the clear vinyl visible when held to the light but these are inside rather than on the surface and playback isn't affected. Overall, disc 2 grades as Very Good+ due to these visual points. It plays well. Audio overall grades as Excellent.
SLEEVE:
An Excellent copy of the original gatefold sleeve with just very minor evidence of storage/handling. Great copy.
INNER/INSERTS:
Plain white inner sleeves with die cut central aperture are present and in Excellent condition. The five panel lyric/photo double sided poster is present, complete and intact and in Excellent condition!
All items sent with components separated in bespoke mailers and with new outer and inner protective sleeves. Any and all questions welcome - combined postage available.
