Description
It may not seem much as one of Maidens earliest releases but this one is much rarer than people think. Prized amongst the Maiden vinyl collectors community due to the very low pressing numbers. Women in uniform is a cover from a little known Australian band called skyhooks from 1978. Maiden absolutely nail this song with a much more powerful rendition and still an absolute classic. Only released in Bolivia, Italy, Ireland, Australia, and the UK on 7" vinyl. There are 6 UK label versions with various label and vinyl differences. This one is the rarest of the UK pressings with a solid centre and silver injection labels and is very rare. The last run of the single pressing and way less than 1000 still exist from a run of tens of thousands on different labels. It's basically the one to have from the UK. The other labels are much easier to obtain.
In great condition and not released in the picture sleeve only in the black generic sleeve. No scratches.
International bidders. I will take care of VAT and customs issues here in the UK but I cannot stop certain nations from charging indiscriminately for customs opening and checking items for a bung.
