Description
Ivan Moravec Piano –
CHOPIN BALLADES -
Connoisseur CS1266 -
Unlimited Wideband Recording -
STUNNING!
Magic from a piano is what this is. Transcendent playing from Ivan Moravec on his beloved Baldwin Concert Grand, modified to sound exactly like a German Bechstein.
The music includes all of the Chopin Ballades, 1 through 4, recorded without EQ, compression, or artificial anything involved.
Beautifully done, in a cover without fault; heavy platter within is near mint.
A glorious LP, worthy of the finest vinyl library.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $4 for a single LP shipped within the States; $1 for each additional LP. Internationally, $18.60 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is $11.95; $3 each additional.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
