Artist: Ivory Joe Hunter Title: Ivory Joe Hunter Label/Number: Atlantic 8008 (M) Jacket condition: VG++ Record condition: VG+ Notes: The cover is in very nice condition with some very light ring wear and a couple of minor corner "dings" detracting just a little. The classic photo and graphics on the front cover still look great as do the notes and title listings on the back. The labels are the original silver and black Atlantic versions and are in nice condition with just a few light spindle marks. The vinyl still has good gloss but has enough light scuffs and scratches to warrant grading the record down to VG+. The record plays fine with just an occasional light "tick" and perhaps a bit of light background "noise"--nothing too distracting but a VG+ grade is appropriate. Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I did play this one as noted above. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to M-. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. If you're worried about grading, however, please check my feedback and put your mind at ease. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions.
Mailing and costs: Shipping is via USPS, media mail, and fully insured, unless otherwise requested. Standard fee on this one will be $5.00 including the cost of insurance and a new mailer and pads. Overseas costs will vary dependent upon the desires of the buyer but will be the actual shipping costs plus about $1.50 for the new mailer and pads.
