Ivory Joe Hunter. Rock & Roll. Atlantic Records(8008). 1957. Mono.
Rock & Roll was originally issued in 1957 by the Atlantic label and was produced by the legendary team of Jerry Wexler & Ahmet Ertegun. The LP contains selections of previous Atlantic singles, taped between 1954 and 1956 (this was the period in which Hunter enjoyed the greatest pop success). At times this material is reminiscent of Nat King Cole going rock & roll and R&B.

Budd Johnson (tenor saxophone), Leon Cohen (alto saxophone),
Allen Hanlon, Billy Mure (guitar), Lloyd Trotman (bass),
Dick Hyman (organ), Joe Marshall (drums), among others.
Recorded in New York City, 1954-1956.
- Conditions: Cover 6 or VG+ high gloss cover with light back rubbing and chipping, edge wear and corner bumps, right side corner bends on corners//Record 8 or EX black and shiny with merest of sleeve rubs, heavy vinyl.
