Description
This is my first J Dilla design. I created this piece back in 2006 after Dilla died. It was a labor of love and it took me two weeks to complete. I wanted to pay tribute to The Greatest by way of painstakingly detailing all of his music catalog that I could find. The piece later went on the win the Art4Dilla poster contest in 2009. Since my rendering technique advanced since 2006 I decided to update the poster by redrawing the entire image in order to obtain a cleaner higher resolution line art. Signed and numbered.
