Description
J R R TOLKIEN Poems & songs of Middle Earth CAEDMON LP Stereo TC 1231!
Original UK/USA (Sleeve is UK manufactured/Record label states USA) LP, with front laminated sleeve and back sleeve flip over edges, comes complete with the original record company paper inner sleeve (in EXCELLENT condition), released in 19?? (No date is specified ~ would estimate mid 1960’s), on the CAEDMON label.
Catalogue number: TC 1231 (Stereo).
Matrix numbers read:
A-side: TC 1231 A.
B-side: TC 1231 B.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT CONDITION
Clean sleeve in EXCELLENT condition, displays minor wear only with no major damage, has some light partial record sleeve ring wear and some small light laminate cracks/creases which overlap the sleeve edges; spine print is mainly clear and intact. There are no rips/tears, no edge/corner wear, no seem splits, no writing and no deep lined sleeve creases.
Record: NEAR MINT CONDITION
Both labels are NEAR MINT, superb clean appearance with no visible wear or any damage and with no visible spindle hole marks. Playing surfaces and matrix areas are in NEAR MINT condition, superb full original glossy sheen on both sides, with just a few small (minimal and almost negligible!) barely visible ultra-light fine line surface scuffs, which only show up when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light. The A-side has a small light faint pressing fault mark at 10 o’clock, record was bought from new like this and the mark does not adversely affect play, although there is a low level background passing sweeping sound in some places when played.
