Description
Another big rarity here is the complete BEETHOVEN sonatas for piano & cello ; recorded by Janos Starker & Gyorgy Sebok.
Recorded in Paris, November & December 1959. Published in 1960 – this is the very first & original pressing.
Issued by ERATO in their early days, in a limited numbered edition of 3.000 copies. This is number 27. Reference EJA (Jardin des Arts) 6.
This deluxe set (2 LP) comes in a STRONG textured cover with a large booklet. It is housed in a plastic outer sleeve marked as ERATO (still in rather good condition over the years!!). One of the best packages I have ever seen, superb!
Cover is M-
Records are VG+ : A few visible marks but plays pleasantly all the way, with a small number of clicks.
Labels : Great, no writing, no damage.
A nice copy of a BEAUTIFUL & rare item (number 27 on 3.000 pressed in 1960).
