An original stereo first pressing of the solo album by Jack Bruce released in the UK
by Polydor Records in 1969.
Although in excellent condition, this copy also has all the characteristics that have been
associated with and written about the first pressing over the years, as both vinyl and sleeve
had some initial manufacturing problems - please see notes about condition below.

Condition:
Vinyl:   *Excellent.
            Clear bright vinyl, but on side 2 the polythene texture of the inner bag seems
            to have left an impression on the surface of the vinyl, which does not interfere
            with the excellent sound.
Sleeve: *Excellent/VG.
            Laminated gatefold sleeve with a single thickness front cover printed by McNeil Press.
            This sleeve has had lamination adhesion problems, which was a manufacturing fault to affect
            many of the sleeves on the first print run. Although not prominent in the photographs,
            there is a rippling and bubble effect to the laminate where it has failed to adhere properly.
            It could be said that this is a genuine characteristic of the early sleeve, but I can only grade
            it somewhere between VG and EX. Later versions of the album were to have a mat varnish
            finish to the sleeve. There are no marks or writing.

will be dispatched in a cruciform box with stiffeners.

Description:

quality of second-hand records offered for sale. The categories and their descriptions are listed below:

MINT:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items
such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks
and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:
The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:
The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
