Description

JACK KEROUAC/Poetry for the Beat Generation, with Steve Allen, piano.  Hanover (US) HML-5000 mono.  Original issue of this great beat poetry title.  Jack Kerouac's writing is light-hearted and humorous, but not laugh out loud comedy for sure.  Allen's piano playing is quite fine and fits the tenor of the poetry and the whole recorded project pretty well.  An interesting, fun listening experience.  LP is VG+: couple of scuffs that do not affect play; expect a bit of noise at the beginning of either side but this settles down to an excellent quality listen very quickly.  Sleeve is VG: complete with slight ring wear on both panels, a previous owner's name written lightly in upper right hand corner of back panel, and somewhat tatty top edge as shown in pics.  Also some foxing overall and light stain along bottom seam.  See pictures for details.  Still a great listening record and quite hard to find these days.  Guaranteed to be as described here or your full purchase price will be refunded.  Sure to please!
