Great, Classic Power Pop 45 on UK 1982 Disclexia Records (DLX 002).
Originally written by Jack Lee, Hanging On A Telephone first featured on a much sought after & fantastic 1976 lone 4-track ep by THE NERVES - Jack Lee, Peter Case (later the Plimsouls) & Paul Collins (later Paul Collin's Beat).
Blondie covered it two years later in 1978.
Jack Lee recorded a brilliant solo LP called Jack Lee's Greatest Hits (US Maiden America) in 1981 and these two tracks came from that LP as a lone UK single release in 1982.
