Description

JACK MONTROSE with BOB GORDON - arranged/played/composed by Jack Montrose with Bob Gordon. (Jack Montrose, tenor saxophone, and Bob Gordon, baritone saxophone, with Paul Moer, piano, Red Mitchell, bass, and Shelly Manne, drums, recorded in Hollywood, May, 1955.) ATLANTIC 1223. ORIGINAL PRESSING. (Black Deep-Groove label.) NOTE: The image included with this listing has been downloaded from an Internet site in the interests of presenting the best picture available. In addition to the detail shown, the cover of the listed album has the words "atlantic 1223" at the upper right hand corner, with the words "high fidelity" underneath. The tunes are: A Little Duet, April's Fool, Dot's Groovy, I'm Gonna Move To The Outskirts Of Town, Cecilia, The News And The Weather, When You Wish Upon A Star, Have You Met Miss Jones and Paradox. 12" MONAURAL LP. Record is in MINT condition (believed unplayed.) High-gloss finish cover retains its original, mirror-like lustre: The only flaw is minor: a very small, 1/4-inch scuff on right hand border of liner sheet. Jacket is otherwise in virtually flawless condition. (Re "PAYMENT METHODS": I accept U.S.$ Money Orders and personal checks, reserving the right to allow a minimum of 2 weeks for personal checks to clear. Alternatively, payment can be made online through PayPal.) Because of album weight, shipment of this LP to the U.S.A. by Surface Mail will cost U.S.$7.90. Different rates apply with additional item(s) included and for Air Mail shipment. Shipping rates for other countries provided on request.
