Up for auction at NO reserve is the Jack Sheldon The Quartet & The Quintet LP on Jazz West, catalog # JWLP-6. This is the original MONO deep groove, flat edge pressing on the deep red label. The LP is VG/VG+: side A is VG+, with only a couple light paper scuffs, while side B is VG/VG+, with quite a few light paper scuffs.....plays with some low level noise throughout, and some occasional pops, only noticeable during quiet passages and between tracks.....still a very enjoyable listen. The cover is VG/VG+, with some light seam wear, corner dent in upper right corner, 2" split in lower right at opening, 2 1/2" split at upper right at opening, and a very light tear in upper right corner, probably from original price sticker........back cover has some light yellowing, and some light rub wear. Vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. Taken from two sessions, Quartet personnel includes: Jack Sheldon; Walter Norris; Ralph Pena; and Gene Gammage......Quintet personnel includes: Jack Sheldon; Zoot Sims; Walter Norris; Bob Whitlock; and Lawrence Marable. All LPs are shipped outside of the album cover in a brand new sleeve and are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts. Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. $12.00 Airmail to Europe and the UK, $14.00 to my friends and customers in the Pacific.
