Description
Red label with black text, deep groove, mono. Sheldon, trumpet, on all tracks. 6 tracks with the Quartet which includes Walter Norris, piano; Ralph Pena, bass; Gene Gammage, drums. 8 tracks with Zoot Sims, tenor sax; Norris, piano; Bob Whlitlock, bass; Lawrence Marable, drums. Very rare. Cover: VG+ to Mint(-) 1" split on the top edge; 2" split on the bottom edge. Both of these are at the insert edge. Crease on top right corner. The cover, itself, is very clean and close to new in overall appearance. Record: Mint Visually shows no wear. There are some small surface spot marks. These appear to be in the vinyl and are not rub marks or a function of handling. They do not effect the sound. No surface noise. Possibly played only 1 or 2 times. This very hard-to-find record is in unusually fine overall condition. The vinyl is moderately heavy. Audibily checked.
