Description
Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats' classic hit "Rocket '88'" comes spinning out of the blues on a 10-inch shellac record,Chess 1458, an authentic piece of music history. Released in 1954, this 78 RPM single is a quintessential piece for enthusiasts of classic R&B and 1950s style. The single includes "Come Back Where You Belong" on the flip side, offering a double dose of musical nostalgia. Although the record itself has been graded as fair (F) because of an edge chip. The playing surface is very good, and sounds great. it remains a sought-after collectible for its influential role in the blues genre and the enduring legacy of Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats.
