Description

Hi, great 60s pop rock here by the great, Jackie De Shannon. (Jackie Dee / Deshannon) Includes  Splendor in the Grass b/w Come and Get Me on IMPERIAL Records (66171 - IM 6213). 
Rare Original Pressing from 1966.  Splendor/Splendour is back by the BYRDS. The song is related to the movie title and is featured on Rhino's box set, Where the Action Is! A set highlighting the Los Angeles Riot on the Sunset strip folk rock scene in the late 1960s with bands like LOVE & Arthur Lee, Buffalo Springfield and P.F. Sloan. The flip is written by Bacharach & Hal David plus its arranged by Burt.

Condition of record: VG+ to NM  Has nice gloss, light marks on both sides. 

Sounds excellent with light background noise on intros & slight pops on quieter song parts heard at loud volumes on my Panasonic home system. Sounds much better and more unnoticeable on my SL1200s with Ortofon dj needles. Comes with white sleeve.


Condition of label: VG+ Looks very good, with slight wear on both sides. Colors still vibrant.
