PLAY GRADED!!! This is not the best looking LP when seen under a bright light but it plays very well. The a-side sounds fantastic - a few light audible marks, nothing bad or overwhelming except for some surface noise between the tracks. The b-side has a few louder marks plus some deeper scratches - 1 of them is major - it runs from the tail end of side 2/1st track through much of the 2nd track which produces a tick and might bother you (that 2nd track is a soft piano driven ballad - of course the quietest track carries the bulk of the scratch!) BUT, after the scratch, the rest of the side plays very strong VG+.
The cover has lost some of it's gloss but it still retains some shine from the lamination. The back has been definitely been handled, absorbed some dirt and is yellowing. No splits but there is some corner wear as well as a tolerable amount of chipping and edge wear.
I am grading the vinyl a solid VG due to the scratch on side B although the whole LP generally plays much better. It's certainly not a looker, but it is a cooker. The cover also falls in between VG and VG+ and I feel comfortable calling it a weak VG+.
Overall, this may not be a "top copy" but it is a solid and affordable place-keeper/starter-copy that you will certainly enjoy - ESPECIALLY with a mono cartridge. If you are listening to mono records with a stereo needle, noise can be more prominent and you will not be getting the best sound out of your mono LPs.
