Very rare original UK issue of the legendary American Prestige LP (PRLP 7035), and a nice clean copy at that!
This is Jackie McLean's classic historic first LP as a leader for Prestige, and one of the rarest 7000 series Prestige recordings; a modern jazz masterpiece! As well as Jackie the album also features Donald Byrd, Elmo Hope, Doug Watkins and Art Taylor.
Comes on lovely deep groove quality thick vinyl with sound quality that is apparently superior to the US first issue!
Comes in original fully laminated flipback picture sleeve and comes complete with original poly-lined inner sleeve.

Vinyl in excellent+ condition and looks superbly clean with just the tiniest amount of very faint sleeve removal scuff lines, and hasn't been played much by the look of it! Plays nicely and clearly with no deterioration in sound quality and just an occasional quiet background static crackle which isn't even noticeable most of the time.
Labels are immaculately clean with only a handful of spindle marks on each side.
Sleeve in very good condition and still well acceptable with mild storage rub wear on front, light ringwear, and slight scuffs on corners. Spines are clean and still intact. Mild discolouring on rear. Two removed tape marks on rear; one next to the opening edge and the other next to the main spine which carries just slightly over on to the front face. No laminate lift to speak of. One tiny surface tear on the front face in bottom left hand corner. No writing anywhere.
Inner sleeve in excellent condition with no edge splts.
