Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL U.S. PRESSING of JACKIE SHANE'S "STAND UP STRAIGHT AND TALL / YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE" 45RPM SINGLE from 196? on Modern Records. Another great and much in-demand release from Jackie Shane with the a-side being a killer uptempo funky northern dancer. Vinyl has lots of marks/scuffs with a few deeper scratches as well. Despite this, the a-side plays thru relatively well (closer to VG) with some background hiss and is certainly enjoyable. B-side plays with a bit more noise but no skips/sticks on either side. Edge has a small 1/8" chip. A-side label has small tear and name in blue pen at right (see photo). This is only being offered for sale due to rarity and demand. Would still make a decent play/filler copy.
Condition of Vinyl is VG-.
