JACKIE WILSON - IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I LOOK AT YOU / JUST AS SOON AS THE FEELINGS OVER
Rare Northern / Crossover single, EX+ Condition
UK BRUNSWICK BR 43, In Original Company Sleeve
A dancefloor favourite from 1977, this is a black label stock copy, slightly rarer than the red label demos. The record sold poorly at the time of release and now regularly fetches £50+ among Northern Soul collectors.
The disc is in excellent condition with only a few small surface marks, most likely paper marks from the sleeve. Apart from a couple of very light 'pops' on the run in of side B that are near inaudible, both sides play EX+ with virtually no wear or signs of use.
The labels are also in excellent condition with just some light spindle marks visible when held to the light. The Brunswick company sleeve has a small '43' written in pencil in the top left hand corner which corresponds to the catalogue number (BR 43) confirming it's most likely the discs' original bag.
A great copy of this cult Northern classic (much desired by Soul collectors generally) in it's original company sleeve.
.
I will be listing many more, mostly original beat, psych, garage and soul 45's and Lp's, many in excellent condition, gathered over thirty years of collecting, during the coming months. Keep an eye out for more great records. Thanks for looking. Bid with confidence!
