Description
Up for auction is a nice clean early pressing of the classic self-titled album Jaco Pastorius, originally released in the U.S. on Epic Records (PE 33949) in 1976:
-Guaranteed vintage 70s pressing, NOT recent reissue -Second issue 1978 dark blue Epic labels -NO UPC/bar code on cover -NOT record club pressing -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Condition: Cover looks very nice, clean and attractive. No ring wear, no seam splits. Corner bump upper left. Hint of rub to lower left corner. Back is nice, white and clean. Seams are strong, clean. Very nicely preserved original. Grade: Excellent (EX)
Vinyl is also very nice, still retains its original glossy shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs--it looks near mint except for on Side Two, Track Two there are two very small superficial marks that do NOT affect the quality of the audio which is excellent. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Looks like this record has maybe been played only a couple times, if that, but handled with care. Nicely preserved. Grade: Excellent (EX)

I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
