ATTENTION 1960s STEREO CLASSICAL ALBUMS COLLECTORS!
HERE IS AN ORIGINAL 1965 UK PRESSED CLASSICAL STEREO ALBUM ON THE EMI PRESSED HIS MASTER'S VOICE LABEL WITH THE EARLIEST SEMI-CIRCLE DOG LABEL DESIGN AND THE ORIGINAL EMI LPs ADVERT INNER SLEEVE.
JACQUELINE DU PRE(CELLO)WITH THE LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CONDUCTED BY SIR JOHN BARBIROLLI. ELGAR:"CELLO CONCERTO". A MAGNIFICENT PERFORMANCE. THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RECORD HAS ELGAR:"SEA PICTURES" PERFORMED BY JANET BAKER.
EMI PRESSED HMV ASD 655 WITH 1G/2G MATRIXES AND THE K T RAISED PRINT TAX CODE ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL.
THE RECORD HAS GLEAMING SURFACES WITH NO SURFACE MARKS.HARDLY ANY SURFACE NOISE!
NEAR MINT CONDITION!
THE ORIGINAL POLYLINED INNER SLEEVE HAS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE "PATENTS APPLIED FOR" TEXT. THE LAMINATED FRONT+FLIPBACK COVER HAS THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE 6511(NOVEMBER 1965)DATE CODE AND THE "PATENTS PENDING" CREDIT.
THE COVER HAS SOME MINOR CREASES BUT NO WRITING OR REPAIRS.
