Jacqueline Palmer and The Palmer's Boys
Happening (South Pacific) FV-1301 / 196(*) / Argentina
Dancing With Beethoven (Beethoven's Ninth Symphony) b/w Tiempo De Verano (Summertime)
1st and only pressing released in the mid-to-late 60s on Happening (South Pacific), Argentina. The enigmatic girl behind the sunglasses on the cover is supposedly called Jacqueline, and she was backed by the Palmer's Boys, an unknown group. I have not been able to find any other information about her. The only thing for sure is that she has a terrific opera-type voice, and both sides are unusual versions of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, and Gershwin's Summertime, respectively, in a groovy 60s Beatles-esque style with organ backing. It was released on the unknown Happening label (apparently a subsidiary of South Pacific, does anybody knows it?). According to the liner notes on the back of the sleeve her managers were Willy Uher Jr. and Henry Lerner, if that helps in anything, and the brief review was penned by a certain Richard Balder. There is NO reserve, so please bid accordingly!

(It has some light scuff marks, and plays really OK, with some sporadic subtle background surface noise as usual on these small-run pressings [even new unplayed copies], but not really obtrusive). .......... Both labels are absolutely clean, .......... (NO writings, stickers, dirt, spindle marks, ink stamps and/or wear). .......... Sleeve: Strong EX near to M-, it is absolutely clean, .......... (NO writings, stickers, tapes, ink stamps, ring wear and/or seam splits).
