One of the most rare electronic/experimental records released on the Hat hut label, the same label that released records from Steve lacy, Pauline Oliveiros, Brion Gysin and Michel Portal, Steve Potts, Michel Redolfi and Alesia Cosmos, Anthony Braxton, John Zorn and Cecil Taylor(have a look at my other auctions for more similar records!!)

This one features works from the pioneer french electroacoustic / acousmatic music composer, Jacques Diennet. As this one is partially recorded and conceptualised in Avignon, home also of Chene Noir, one can't avoid but notice the deep relation with Chene Noir, as on the record elements, such as female vocals, theatrical perforamance  & poetry and underlined. Other than that, one of the works on the record, with use of synclavier is dedicated to Jon Appleton(Facile pour cecile). Quite important musicians play on the record, like Daniel Deshays, Joe McPhee, Gerard Siracusa and Andre Jaume. These recordings are essential for anybody digging experimental music!! A MUST HAVE!! A BIG MUST!!

Diennet got familiar with digital composition during several stays in the USA and Canada, as Robert Ashley’s guest in the Mills College Studios and as John Appleton’s guest at the Darmouth College Studios. In the tradition of Guy Reibel, Pierre Schaeffer, Francois Bayle and Ivo Malec, Alain Savouret, Jean Schwarz, and Trevor Wishart, Luigi Nono, Pietro Grossi and Desmond Leslie and Bernard Parmegiani. Laureate of several international prizes including: First Prize of the town of Varèse Competition Ruigi Russolo and First Prize of work for multimedia at the Bourges International Competitions in 2000.
