Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by British group the Jam, released in 1977. This and the group's other early records straddled the line between power pop and punk, though their look was squarely in the former camp. The record features ten originals penned by guitarist Paul Weller and covers of the '50s rock song "Slow Down" and "The Batman Theme" (a nod to idols the Who, who had also covered it). The jacket has light ring, corner, and bottom seam wear -- EX(+). The disc is clean with a little light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise -- EX(+). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (M-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) all discs except where otherwise noted.
